Epoxy Putty

Epoxy PuttyEpoxy Putty
Epoxy Putty

Epoxy Putties are used for a variety of fabrication or sculpting applications and are available as rigid or semi-rigid. With several to choose from, these are easy to use "mix-and-apply by hand" systems. High-density epoxy putties can be textured and stamped to make artificial tree bark, vines, aquarium-safe coral pieces or flame-rated themed elements. Low-density putty is used for reinforcement, making lightweight elements and filleting for composite applications. Epoxy sculpting putty allows the user to sculpt fine detail with precision to create lasting works of art.

Free FormTM HabitatTM Series

Free Form™ Habitat™ Black Epoxy Putty is a mix-by-hand putty that is used to create textured or highly detailed display pieces. Habitat™ Black is solvent-free, contains no VOC’s, and cures to a very hard, heat resistant material that is easily painted. Suitable for interior and exterior use. It is certified ‘aquarium safe’ and used by aquariums to create hyper-realistic coral and other aquarium displays. Habitat™ Black is also used for general sculpting and theming applications. It can be stamped with a silicone rubber stamp to create repeating patterns with intricate detail over a large surface area. New Habitat® Black bonds to cured Habitat™ Black without delamination, it can be used as an EPS foam coating, and is also an excellent repair cement for PVC, Plexiglas® (acrylic), wood, many metals, plastics and foams.

Free FormTM AIR Series

Free Form™ AIR is an extremely lightweight epoxy putty suitable for an infinite variety of industrial and art-related applications. This low-odour, low shrinkage putty is unique, inexpensive, and easy to use. Use to make rigid support shells or mother moulds, as a filleting material in epoxy tooling, or in between layers of EpoxAmite™ and reinforcement fabric for making lightweight composite parts. Free Form™ AIR is so lightweight, it will float in water. It can be sanded, shaped, drilled, tapped and CNC machined/routered. It will readily accept any paint. Free Form™ AIR can also be colour pigmented with UVO™ or Ignite™ colourants.

SCULPT is 30% lighter than similar products and holds vertical surfaces better. Users can sculpt larger, stronger pieces with more control over weight distribution. Free Form™ SCULPT has an ultra fine particle size that gives the user the ability to sculpt finer detail with better precision using tools or shaping by hand and does not contain crystalline silica (which is a known carcinogen). For added control use Free Form™ Detailer.
