The Ignite™ line of liquid fluorescent colourants is compatible with Smooth-On polyurethane rubbers, polyurethane plastics, and polyurethane foams (rigid and flexible). The fluorescent or "glow" effect is maximized under ultra-violet light or "black light." The most dramatic colour effect is realized when an Ignite colourant is used with a clear or translucent polyurethane rubber (such as Clear Flex™ 50) or plastic (such as Smooth-Cast™ 325).

What Makes Castings Made With Ignite™ Pigments Appear To Glow? When you add Ignite fluorescent colour to a polyurethane material, more ultraviolet light from the cured material is visible to your eye vs. castings made with SO Strong™ colourants. The casting appears brighter in ambient light and appears to glow under ultraviolet light.
