Addition Cure Platinum Silicone Rubber

Also known as platinum-cured silicone, addition-cured silicones exhibit the lowest long-term shrinkage and have the longest library life of all mould rubbers.

While good for making moulds for casting a variety of materials, platinum-cure silicones also have physical properties that other rubbers do not. For example, some are certified "skin safe" while other platinum silicones are certified "food safe" for culinary applications.

Dragon Skin^TM Series

Dragon Skin Series silicones are high performance, skin-safe platinum cure silicone rubbers that can be mixed 1A:1B by weight or volume and cure at room temperature with negligible shrinkage. Cured Dragon Skin is very strong and very "stretchy", and is used in high-performance moulds and many special effects applications, especially animatronics where repetitive motion is required. It is water white translucent and will accept pigments for creating colour effects.
